You'll come away with a strong, practical foundation to build on across the rest of the course.

  • Everyone loves a good story and the best communicators know how to tell one. Module 2 explores the theories behind storytelling and the key elements that make a narrative compelling, and shows you how to harness the power of storytelling in your own communications. Whether you're writing a campaign brief or a brand manifesto, you'll know how to make it land.

  • Internal communication is one of the most impactful (and most overlooked) areas of marketing. In this module, you'll learn what makes internal comms truly effective, how to build processes that keep teams engaged and aligned, and how to measure the impact of your internal communications efforts. Effective internal comms isn't just good for culture - it's good for business too!

  • In the final module, we shift the focus outward. You'll learn how to communicate with consumers, partners, and distributors in a way that doesn't just inform but genuinely engages. You'll explore best practices for external comms campaigns and learn how to evaluate their success so you can keep improving with every campaign you run.

  • Internal communications refers to how you communicate within your organisation - keeping teams informed, aligned, and engaged. External communications covers how your brand communicates with the outside world: customers, partners, media, and the public. Both are covered in this course, because great marketers need to be skilled in both directions. Module 3 focuses on internal comms, and Module 4 takes an in-depth look at external.

  • Because information on its own rarely changes how someone feels but a good story does. Storytelling is the difference between a message that's read and forgotten and one that genuinely resonates, builds trust, and drives action. Module 2 of this course explores the theories behind effective storytelling and gives you practical tools to craft compelling narratives for your brand, your campaigns, and your communications strategies.
