Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Customer Marketing Executive to join our team in Sevenoaks, Kent. You will plan, develop and executive multi-channel, segmented customer life-cycle campaigns aimed at improving the experience and increasing lifetime value of Life Outdoors customers. You’ll work with the Marketing Manager to build customer ‘wow’ strategies for multiple customer segments and execute them.


  • Design and manage campaigns end-to-end to drive customer engagement and customer lifetime value
  • Develop campaigns that target different segments appropriately, considering target segmentation, tailored propositions and offers, bespoke copy and format to maximise customer engagement and lifetime value
  • Ensure all channels are considered throughout the campaign planning and execution (email, SMS, outbound, direct mail, push notifi cations etc.)
  • Clearly brief the Customer Service Team, Sales Team and any relevant teams on their requirements
  • Working closely with them to ensure standards are adhered to and result reported on effectively and concisely
  • Use CRM to build your campaigns, using drag and drop templates and various design elements
  • Ensure all campaigns are quality checked (spelling, layout, accuracy) as standard with all content approved by the Marketing Manager
  • Report on campaign performance, their impact on key metrics and use data/analytics to validate suggestions, leveraging these insights to drive campaigns
  • Write clear and concise campaign and customer journey briefs
  • Maintain a customer lifetime value tracker, keeping the marketing manager and teams up to date with the latest plans and figures
  • Support and contribute to the development and implementation of the customer journey marketing plans
  • Create, manage and implement an effective content plan to drive customer engagement across social media and other platforms
  • Support the wider marketing requirements and Marketing Manager as and when required
